Changan, the renowned Chinese automaker, officially launched its presence in Bangkok, Thailand, during its Southeast Asia press conference held on November 27.
Changan has established a Southeast Asia Division and three local companies for localized operations: Changan Automobile Southeast Asia, Changan Thailand Sales, and Changan Thailand Parts. The company has initiated the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Thailand.
During the press conference, Changan detailed its expansion plans in Southeast Asia, emphasizing a "trade + base" strategy and introducing product brands: DEEPAL, AVATR, and NEVO. The company aims to collaborate with top distribution partners in Thailand, launch the Thai version of the "Number One Project," enhance user services, and contribute to Thailand's industrial development while reinforcing ESG construction.
Changan Automobile Chairman Zhu Huarong emphasized the alignment of Thailand's automotive industry with Changan's new energy strategic development. The company also unveiled two vehicles, the DEEPAL L07 and DEEPAL S07, available for pre-order and set to be officially launched at the Thailand Auto Show on November 29th. Additionally, Avita showcased its flagship models, Avita 11 and Avita 12, for the first time in Thailand during the event.
